Basic rules for using GrantCompass: accounts, user content, acceptable use and limits of liability.
Updated: 2026-10-06
1. Acceptance
By using the site or creating an account you accept these terms, the Legal notice, the Privacy policy and the Cookie policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
GrantCompass is free. It offers an informational catalogue of grants and scholarships, a questionnaire that compares your profile with published requirements, a deadline calendar, a personal list of grants, reviews and help with drafting. We may change, suspend or remove features at any time.
Information is for guidance only. We do not guarantee that a programme is open or that you will get it. Always check the rules at the official source before applying.
3. Accounts
- Give truthful details and look after your password. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
- You need an account to save grants, write reviews and use the application draft.
- You must be 14 or over; if younger, you need a parent's or guardian's consent.
- You can delete your account at any time from “My account”.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the site unlawfully or to deceive others;
- try to access other people's accounts, overload the service or get around its security limits;
- scrape the content in bulk and automatically without permission;
- post other people's personal data, insults, advertising, deceptive links or content that infringes third-party rights.
5. Reviews and user content
Write only about your real experience. Reviews are personal opinions and are verified neither by the funder nor by GrantCompass.
By sending a review you allow us to show it on the site, without compensation, until you delete it. We may moderate, hide or delete it if it breaks these terms.
6. Application draft
The draft is a writing aid. The final text and its truthfulness are always your responsibility. Do not include anything untrue. Funders may discard generic or copied texts.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the owner is not liable for indirect damage or for decisions you take based on the site. This does not limit the rights consumer law gives you.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Spanish law applies. Contact: .
