About this grant

The Deutschlandstipendium is a German scholarship of €300 a month (€3,600 a year), funded by the state (the Federal Ministry of Education and Research) and private sponsors. It does not depend on income, nationality or age, so students from Spain enrolled at a participating university can apply, even from the first semester.

Each university runs its own competition, usually in summer; dates vary and the 31 August 2027 date in the record is a guide. The university chooses by academic performance and also considers volunteering and personal circumstances. The scholarship is renewed every year if conditions are maintained.
